CGI America 2015

CGI America 2015

CGI America in Denver was a fantastic event! Fusion Imaging’s partnership with the Clinton’s Events is a perfect example of the event services we provide.  Each year CGI is held at different locations across the country and Fusion Imaging is there to transform these locations into well branded events.  We print and manufacture all of the branded pieces, install/remove on site and inventory all of the components.  Fusion Imaging also provides staff on location to oversee the installation and removal – ensuring that any issues get addresses immediately.

Events always seem to have something go wrong and this year was no exception.  The truck transporting graphics didn’t tie-down some of the materials and damaged a large portion of flat printed graphics.  The great thing is that with our on-site staff, the issue was noticed early enough to have everything reprinted and shipped on time.  We understand that issues come up – but that’s what makes us great!  We’ve been anticipating these kinds of issues for years and when Fusion is a part of your event team…we take care of them and see that your event goes off without a hitch!

Presidential Partners for 9 Years

We’ve been a partner with President Bill Clinton since 2005 providing event graphics for his CGI Events held across the world.  The work we do at the Sheraton in New York is a massive transformation with wall graphics, custom displays, window graphics, way finding signs and tension fabric displays.  We are a great fit because of our wide range of graphic products, our event project management and logistics with installation and take down.  Our dedicated team of account managers and on-site management ensures these events go off without a hitch.  We store the frames that are used at each event and new graphics are printed and fit to existing frames as the event grows over time.  We specialize in dye-sub printed fabrics as well as all other typical substrates like gator, sintra and vinyl.  Our experience with events is second to none.

University of Utah Huntsman Center Renovation

Kaysville, Utah –When the University of Utah wanted to give the Huntsman Center a facelift they called Fusion Imaging and utilized our creative staff to develop an innovative way to provide graphics. The entire perimeter of both levels were wrapped in dye-sub printed fabric. Fusion measured, printed, sewed and fitted all of the existing concrete structures with colorful University of Utah graphics. Banners were installed from the rafters in the arena to highlight the winning history of the Utah Utes. To top it all off a large hanging cylinder was installed under the jumbotron.

We were thrilled to be a part of this transformation that showcased our great dye sublimation, sewing, installation, display manufacturing, flatbed printing and their innovative solutions that updated a dated arena into a brand new looking facility.

A Home Run at the 2014 MLB All-Star Game

Kaysville, Utah – Hosting an event like the 2014 MLB All-Star Game is a huge deal for the host city and what a great fit for Fusion Imaging and their parent company, Vomela, from St. Paul. Not only was the stadium branded for the event but some of the most impressive graphics were actually downtown at several hotel locations.  Fusion has great experience with transforming entire cityscapes for huge events that started with the 2002 Utah Winter Olympic Games and the massive building murals the adorned a dozen buildings in SLC.

Pulling off events like this require more than just quality printing.  Fusion has a dedicated team of account managers and a proprietary job tracking system and logistics that helps eliminate some of the typical headaches that seem to happen over and over.  You can tell by the amount of work that this was a huge deal in Minneapolis and Fusion Imaging was proud to be a part of this years MLB All-Star Game!

Great News Story on LeBron Install

There was major excitement in Cleveland during the install of the LeBron James banner.  This 10 story tall – 210′ wide banner takes a while to install and things went very smooth although for most people they didn’t realize it would take a bit longer than they expected.  You can’t really drop 25,000 square feet of material at 1.3 tons in one big drop.  This news feature includes a cameo from Wayne Boydstun – again, a massive job pulled off by the Fusion Team!
